Taxonomy
Acropentias sp. 3. An unnamed specimen in the Sabah Parks Coll. from Sabah (Mt Kinabalu N.P., Park HQ).
Near Acropentias aureus (Butler 1878: 402). It may be a ssp. of A. aureus.

Description
This species is very similar to Acropentias sp. 2 but it is even more heavily suffused with brown on the median area of the FW. See illustrations of A. aureus in Butler, A.G. (1879: Pl. LI fig 4,) and Wang & Spiedel (2000): 95.
