Taxonomy
Moluccas, Batian. The holotype of Microsca pusilla Butler, 1887:116 from the Solomon Is. (Alu [Islands], Shortland Is.) is in the NHM (Mi7423).
Description
Two fasciae have a rounded to angled flexure distad centrally and a sharper right-angle subcostally towards the Costa. It does however closely resemble some specimens under A. venustus van Eecke, 1929 present in some collections.
Feeds on Macaranga sp. (Euphorbiaceae); M. aleuritoides, M. bifoveata, M. brachytricha, M. chrysotricha, M. clavata, M. densiflora, M. fallacina, M. quadriglandulosa, M. tanarius, &M. tsonane (CATS [Accessed Sept. 2008]).
