Taxonomy
The holotype of Glyphodes deliciosa Butler, 1887: 118-119 is from the Solomon Is. (Alu).
- syn. Glyphodes hageni Hering 1901b: 265, pl 1 fig 24 TL Indonesia (Sumatra).
Description
As with most Agrioglypta spp. the background colouration is shining white with distinctive brown and purplish facies. It is very similar to the related A. excelsalis Walker 1865 [1866], but the shape of one of the triangular white markings on the FW is different.
