Taxonomy
The holotype of Ambia interstrigalis Hampson, 1897: 162, is from Indonesia (Amboina).
Description
A mainly fulvous brown sp. with white markings except for submarginal orange band with brown patches which extends round the FW and HW: The brown of the HW median area is tinged with orange near the posterior margin. The head thorax and abdomen are brown with the intersegmental areas of the abdomen slightly lighter brown.
