Taxonomy
Oligostigma poritialis Walker, 1859e: 951-952 was described by Walker but no TL is given by him.
- syn. n. Ambia portialis West 1931: 214 (subs misspell.)
It is the TS of Opisthedeicta Warren, 1890: 478 and treated in such by Globiz.
Description
Complicated but distinctive patterning of white spots and bands with darker brown margins, on an ochreous base colour. See Ambia pedionoma which is similar but has a slightly simpler and less angular white patterning.
