Taxonomy
Bradina sp. 4, an unnamed specimen from Sabah (MKNP) in the Schulze Coll. [Accessions, box 3]. Generic placement uncertain.
Description
A distinctive chestnut brown sp. The broad HW is rounded with faint post median lineation and a curving ante-median fascia on the FW. The median and basal areas of the wings proximal to the post median fasciae of the FW and the median fascia of the HW is slightly darker. There is a dark small c-shaped mark in the FW cell. The median line of the HW curves basally reaching the anterior margin half way along the long rounded tornus. The termenae have a thin dark subtermenal line separated from the brown cillia by a pale line. The intersegmental areas of the brown abdomen are ringed in white. The bases of the antenae are highly modified which may point to it being associated with the Coptobasis mesospectralis group.
