Taxonomy

The holoptype of Burathema divisa Walker, 1863a: 19, is from Sarawak.

This is the TS, by monotypy, of Burathema Walker 1863a: 19.

Description

A distinctive brown and grey sp. FW with a curving diagonal band in white and dark brown running from the middle of the anal margin towards the wing tip bordered distally with darker brown markings on the FW post median fascia. The HW has a dark brown basal line and a dark brown serrate post median line. Note the very long and distinctive porrect palpi.
