Taxonomy
The holotype of Crambus obliterans Walker, 1863: 169 is from ‘Borneo’.
Description
There is little fasciation on the brownish or straw coloured FW apart from a faint sigmoid median line, a thin dark curving post median line and an indistinct gently cuved sub termenal line. The paler HW is without markings. The fringes are white. The palpi are long, porrect and furry. See Calamotropha sybilla Bleszynski, 1966 which is very similar.
