Taxonomy
Callibotys sp. 1 is an undescribed morphotype nr. Sameodes monostictalis Hampson, 1899: 176, from Sabah, Mount Kinabalu (KML).
Description
A fulvous sp. FW with a large square white spot in the discocellular area There are indistinct darker brown basal, post median and sub termenal lines. The anterior medial area around the spot is darker brown. The HW has darker fulvous antemedian and post median lines, unlike C. hyalodiscalis Warren, 1895: 471 which has a dark HW. The body is uniformly orange fulvous. Very similar specimens have been recorded from Hong Kong. See Callibotys sp.2
