Taxonomy
W. Malaysia, GTE. The holotype of Hypolamprus tessellata Swinhoe, 1904:422 is from Sumatra (Padang). ms comb. n. to Camadena (Shaffer, 1992 LepIndex).
Description
The large size, distinctive angular falcate wing shape and striped pattern make this species unmistakable. The wing span is very variable.
