Spiedel & Mey (1999) comment that the C. angulata group of spp. is misplaced in Cataclysta and belong to the Musotiminae (S.H. Yen in litt.) and merits a genus of its own which will [may] be described by Yen.
As Acentropinae as (Cataclysta) in Globiz & LepIndex.
We treat it in the Musotiminae.
