Description
This purple-grey, back and white sp. is readily identified by its FW patterning which resembles B. telphusalis Walker 1859e: 974 with a similar narrow white band antemedianally but the large white patch at the post median position is more rounded, not indented and ‘B’-shaped. Some specimens seen are browner or darker. A specimen in Leiden [BOLD RMNHS taxon #19536] from Kaliman Timur Pasoh, has been DNA barcoded (Ratnasingham & Hebert 2007). Schulze (2000) Taxon #047.
