- Family: Crambidae
- Subfamily: Spilomelinae
- Genus: Chrysothyridia
- Distribution: Sabah, Sarawak.
- Habitat: Lowland primary forest <630m
- Wing Length: 14mm
Taxonomy
Chrysothyridia sp.; a few unnamed morphotypes with wing patterns nr. to C. triangulifera Munroe, 1967.
Description
Note the FW apical costal patch is more regularly triangular than that of the C. triangulifera types illustrated by Munroe: 1106: figs 1, 2. The large white central spot in the middle of the FW has a bifurcating posterior margin also seen in Chrysothyridia sp. 2. It does not closely coincide with either C. triangulifera or C. invertalis and it may represent an undescribed variety or sp. Best determined by genitalic examination. Schulze (2000) Taxon #213a.
