Taxonomy
The female holotype of Cirrhochrista figuratalis Walker, 1865 [1866]: 1369 from Sulawesi (Makian) is in Oxford U.M.N.H. The type #1197 was collected by A.R. Wallace. Long considered as syn. with C. brizoalis Walker 1859e: 976 but re-erected as a good sp. by Mike Shaffer, 1968 (LepIndex). Still considered as syn with C. brizoalis (Globiz) despite its obvious differences.

Description
Another shining white sp. with fulvous and brown markings mainly on the FW. One mark forms a distinctive brown circular mark, medially towards the tornus. See C. annulifera Hampson, 1919: 323 which is very similar but has a larger circular mark. C. brizoalis has no such mark. Part of the C. brizolalis group.
