Taxonomy
Cirrhochrista sp. 9. A female specimen nr. Cirrhochrista brizolalis in the BMNH, from Sabah, Mt. Trus Madi.
Description
The shining white wings have few transverse markings except for a few small dots on the paths of the ante-median, median and apical fasciae. These fasciae are represented on the subcosta by fulvous centred brown triangular marks. The costa and termen of the FW and the termen of the HW have a narrow, white bordered, bright orange lines with pale brown cillia distally. The subtermenal areas have a broad dark brown band. Unlike Cirrhochrista brizolalis the FW termen does not have an orange patch turning on to the anterior margin which is found on Cirrhochrista sp. 2. This may be an obscure var. of C brizolalis.
