Description

The spotting pattern is superficially similar to Conogethes nicippealis Walker (1859e: 999), C. parvipunctalis (Inoue & Yamanaka, 2006: 87-88, figs 6, 14, 17, 17a) and C. evaxalis (Walker 1859e: 995) but the specimens do not closely agree with any of those spp.

A very faint darker suffusion is present on the subcosta and central areas of the FW on the FW. Schulze (2000) taxon # 239 ‘Conogethes sp. 8’  & Whitaker Kitching taxon #615.
