Taxonomy
Conogethes sp. 9. A short series from Sabah, PHS in the Schulze Coll. incorrectly identified as Conogethes diminutiva nr. var. fulvida Warren, 1896c: 168, in the Schulze Coll.
Description
The FW is distinctively tinged with a reddish purple with a few areas of yellow, especially termenally. Fresh specimens are quite a dark reddish brown. The HW is mainly yellow with a few black sub-termenal spots and and reddish post-median fascia. The body is orange-brown dorsally and the males have long dark anal hair pencils. Schulze (2000) taxon #237 ‘Conogethes diminutiva nr. var. fulvida’.
