Taxonomy
Coptobasis sp. 27 is an unnamed morphotype from Sabah PHS in the Schulze Coll. Generic placement is uncertain.
Description
A dark brown sp. with a bluish sheen on the wings. The only wing markings are faint darker patches at either end of the FW cell. The antennae are simple with swollen bases and a slightly serrate scape which is lightly covered by long cillia. both have a pale creamy underside thorax and abdomen with a paler collar. Note the short pale ocreous anal hair scales of the male. See Coptobasis sulcialis and Coptobasis sp. 23.
