Taxonomy
Cotachena sp. 2 similar to C. castoralis Walker, 1859d a single specimen from Sabah PHS in the Schulze-Coll. Generic placement uncertain.
Description
The wings are a dingy brown with smaller pale patches and a less well defined coronet near the FW apex than in C. castoralis. Like Cotachena sp. 1 the transverse fasciae are poorly defined. Schulze (2000) taxon #511 ‘Pyraustinae sp. 48’.
