Taxonomy
The male holotype of Eurycreon oculifera Hering, 1901a: 98, pl. 1 fig. 20, is from Sumatra. Treated as Loxostege in LepIndex.
Description
A mainly brown sp.. FW with faint diffuse darker bands at the post-median and ante-median positions. There is a distinct dark brown spot in the FW cell and its termen has a pale band proximal to the brown fringes. The HW is pale grey-brown with darker brown veins. The only Malesian specimen seen is a damaged specimen [without head] in the BMNH from W. Malaysia (Bukit Kutu).
