Taxonomy
The holotype of Scopula accalis Walker, 1859e: 1015-1016 is from from China, (Shanghai).
- syn. Diasemia spilonotalis Snellen, 1880-1892 [1882]: 73. TL Sumatra (Silago).
- Syn. n. (Shaffer et al. 1996).
- The female lectotype (TL Sulawesi) chosen by Munroe et al. (1958: 85) is in RMH Leiden.
Description
A narrow-winged sp., delicately marked in brown & fulvous with white post-median bands on both wings. The rather elongate abdomen is pale brown with paler intersegmental bands. Note the rather long labial palps. The male has distinctive, unilaterally setose, antennae. Schulze (2000) Taxon #724. See RTS (1994: 183, Pl. 30, Fig 13.) and Wang & Speidel (2000: 110)
