- Family: Crambidae

- Genus: Dichocrocis
- Distribution: Brunei.
- Habitat: Lowland forest.
- Wing Length: 10mm
Taxonomy
Dichocrocis sp. 17 a single specimen in the BMNH, from Brunei Labi.
Description
A pale yellow, rather delicate sp. with black markings on both wings. The pattern has mainly linear elements on both FW & HW. The abdomen base has two lateral brown-black spots and a black tip.
This taxon superficially resemble Xanthomelaena Hampson (1896: 255) but does not have the discrete wing spots of X. schematias (Meyrick, 1894: 458). It raises the question as to how Xanthomelaena differs from some Dichocrocis spp..
