Taxonomy
The female holotype of Diplopseustis selenalis Hampson, 1906: 213 in the BMNH is from New Guinea (Fergusson Is.). It may be synonymous with:
- D. perieresalis
Description
The specimen illustrated is very similar to Diplopseustis perieresalis but it is a lighter colour, pale purplish brown. The sinuous white lines on the FW, at the sub-termenal and antemedian positions, differ slightly from those seen in D. perieresalis.
