Description

This is a brown sp. with darker brown lines at the post-median position and with orbicular and reniform stigmata outlined in darker brown. The most notable characteristic is the distorted venation of the central F.W. probably associated with specialised pheromone scales. The associated female is unknown. The natural resting posture of the moth has the abdomen curved upwards. Tmw identified Schulze (2000), ‘Pyraustinae sp. 91’, Taxon #675, originally considered to be Nacoleia charessalis, as this sp. See Epherema sp. 1.
