Description

A description (adapted from Snellen, 1899: 60-61). The ochreous yellow FW has a dark basal line, a twice curved, rusty-brown antemedian line and a postmedian zig zag line which angles sharply just above the center and then runs to the middle of the anterior margin. The termen has a thin black-brown serrate line and another fine pale line, the base of the black-brown fringes. The FW is suffused by  rusty brown patches especially in the middle near a slightly paler, faint purple-grey discocellular spot. HW yellow ochreous yellow but paler than the FW, with greyish fringes. The pale yellow abdomen matches the HW in colour and does not extend beyond them.
