Taxonomy
The holotype of Erpis macularis Walker, 1863a: 133 is from Sarawak.
Description
A distinctive species with a leopard-skin pattern in purplish brown and cream on its FW. The HW is uniformly pale brown with a white line on the long fringes. See RTS (1994: 171) who refer to its compact labial palps.
