Taxonomy

The holotype of Glaucocharis margretella Gaskin, 1985 (: 28, figs. 38, 112), from Doerian Is., Kepulauan, Riau Arch., is in the CNC (Ottawa).

Description

As in all Glaucocharis spp. the FW is bifalcate. It is pale with the white distinctively marked with orange lines and distally with an intricate speckling of pale brown There is a thick, broken, pale brown, submarginal line. The HW is mainly white but it is suffused with grey in the submarginal area. The fringes are long and white.
