Taxonomy
Hemopsis sp. 2. is an un-named morphotype from Sabah, Mt. Kinabalu, KML in the ITBC Borneensis collection.
Description
A chocolate brown sp. with paler markings. Fresh specimens have pale yellow markings which fade to white. The head, thorax and are dull brown. The abdomen is dark with pale yellowish inter-segmental rings. The wing markings are very similar to Hemopsis dissipatalis (Lederer, 1863c) but the cream areas of the FW are differently shaped and those on the HW are larger forming broad central patch.
