Taxonomy

The holotype of Isocentris phoenicozona Hampson, 1896: 385 is from India [Meghalaya] (Khasia Hills).

Description

A yellow sp. with a purple submarginal band. In some specimens the apical yellow triangle may be replaced by a mauve suffusion. Labial palps are yellow and purple above and white beneath. The orange transverse lines are indistinct on the Underside.
