Taxonomy

Musotima sp. 15 is a single unnamed specimen from Sabah, MKNP in the MfNH Berlin.

Description

A handsome and distinctive chestnut brown, fulvous, black and white sp., with a complicated patterning reminiscent of Aeolopetra spp. Delicate in appearance with a slightly elongate abdomen. Both wings are falcate and the HW is crenulate. On close examination the fasciation differs markedly from M. suffusalis, especially in the lack of smoothly curved subtermenal white bands and a broad smooth white submedian band which extends anteriorly, only to the middle of the FW.
