Taxonomy
Nymphicula sp. 3 is an unnamed specimen in the Schulze Coll., from Sabah (Tunku Abdul Rahman N.P.).
Description
A small Nymphicula sp. It is dark brown, orange and white with leaden patches near the FW termen. It has more dark brown speckling than some spp. and much of the fulvous is restricted to the FW apex. Its HW has two marginal eye spots separated by orange patches Schulze (2000) Taxon #356. It is superficially similar to N. tripunctata Yoshiyasu, 1987: 177, but that sp. has four termenal eye spots.
