Taxonomy
Nymphicula sp. 8 is an un-named specimen nr. N. blandialis (Walker, 1859) from West Malaysia, GTE, in the HSB Coll.
Description
It is patterned in dark brown, fulvous and white with leaden patches. Densely speckled brown black scales occupy the centre of both wings, that of the HW is separated by a serrated black & white subtermenal lines from five, large eyes spots on the wing margin. These lack central pale or blue pupils but the anterior four have small white punctae proximally. The FW is somewhat darker than most Nymphicula spp. and the pale areas on the fW are densly speckled with dark scales. See other Nymphicula spp..
