Taxonomy
Sabah, Kalabakan. This series is included with Mellea in the NHM (Mi7407).
Description
A reddish brown species with a distinctive fasciation, and an overall reticulated patterning. The FW has a median fascia and a complex postmedian fascia with a hooked shape in darker brown. The costal part of the FW apex is more orange. The HW has a narrow median band and a slightly wider postmedian fascia in darker brown.
Similar Species
Very similar patterning to the much smaller Opula sp. 1.
