Taxonomy
The holotype of Pagyda ochrealis Wileman, 1911: 375, pl. 30 fig. 17. TL Japan, (Junsai Numa) In the past widely considered a junior subjective syn. of P. salvalis Walker 1859 but here we treat it as a good sp.
Description
There is confusion over the exact identity of this sp. and a verified illustration of the holotype is needed. Do not confuse this sp. with Phlyctaenodes ochrealis Wileman, 1911: 384 TL Japan; which is a junior subjective syn of Pionea [Ecpyrrhorrhoe] puralis South, 1901: 492.
