Pagyda sp. 3. An un-named morphotype in the HSB Coll. From W, Malaysia, GTE. Placement in Pagyda uncertain.
Description
A pretty morphospecies, interestingly patterned in fulvous, cream and silvery white which presents a blotchy appearance. On the FW there is a distinct curved fulvous antemedian line and a black spot on the median subcosta. The complex patterning on the outer parts of both wings is reminiscent of Orthospila spp.. The abdomen is similarly blotched with orange-fulvous on a pale base. Pagyda auroralis (Moore, 1888: 215, Pl.7 fig. 17 ) may be related.
