Taxonomy
The holotype of Parthenodes aurantialis Swinhoe, 1895: 304 is from Assam. comb. n. to Paracymoriza Yoshiyasu (1987).
Description
There are several Paracymoriza spp. with similar wing patterning but this is one of the brightest coloured of all Paracymoriza spp. with bright fulvous orange wings with extensive white and dark brown markings. The Head, thorax abdomen are orange with white banding. Illustrated in Chen et al. (2007). They illustrate the habitus, the male and female genitalia and also also provide a key to the Chinese species of Paracymoriza, figs 1, 2, 11 & 23. It is similar to P. concava Chen et al., 2007. T.L. China, Guangxi, Longsheng and Paracymoriza argenteolineata Spiedel 2003 T.L. Philippines, Mindanao, Mt. Agtuugenon.
