Taxonomy
The holotype of Thysanodesma rosea Warren, 1896e: 142-143 is from India, Khasia Hills. The cotype is in the BMNH. comb. n. to Ichnurges (Shaffer et al. 1996 & LepIndex) treated in Rhectothyris by Globiz, but it is not well placed in either genera especially as they are treated as Spilomelinae.
Description
This morphotype falls into the group described in Zhang et al. (2014) a male with a prominent subtermenal band. A distinctive pink-purple and fulvous sp. The abdomen is mainly pinkish with pale fulvous patches and tip with pale inter-segmental banding.
