Taxonomy
Sabah, PHS, Por. The holotype of Pharambara micacealis Walker, [1866] 1865:1275 from the Moluccas (Mysool) is in the NHM (Mi7369); Syntype Pyralis disjunctalis Walker, [1866] 1865:1526 from the Moluccas is in OUMNH.
- syn. ssp. occlusa Warren, 1897:382 is from Bali. The syntype is in the NHM (Mi7369).
- syn. & stat. n. (Shaffer & Nielsen, 1996).
- syn. Siculodes papuensis Pagenstecher, 1886:166 is from the Moluccas.
Description
A brown-red reticulated species with a distinctive pale orbicular spot on the FW. Both FW and HW have a series of irregular lines.
