Taxonomy

Sarawak, Bidi. Rhodoneura sp. 2 is an unnamed series in the NHM (Mi7391).

Description

A medium sized species with a diffuse pale brown spotted pattern and pink tinged venation. Some similar specimens in the FRC collection differ in the distributions of the wing markings and may not all be conspecific.

Life History

This is a seed borer in Dipterocarpus warburgii & D. validus (Dipterocarpaceae) (Chey, 2002).
