Taxonomy
Scoparia sp? 1. An unnamed morphotype from W. Malaysia (GTE) in the HSB-Coll. and a similar morphotype from Sabah (PHS) in the Schulze Coll.. Generic placement provisional. This may be a Microchilo.
Description
This morphotype has a pale grey FW marked with brown speckling and diffuse brown patterning where a jagged termenal and a faint ante-median line can be discerned The FW termen is pale with darker marks on the veins. The HW is totally grey brown with a white termenal band. The Sabahan specimen has more diffuse markings and may not be conspecific. Microchilo syndyas is very similar but has different FW markings.
