Sufetula sunidesalis Walker

Taxonomy
The holotype of Sufetula sunidesalis Walker 1859: 947, from Sarawak is in the Oxford University Museum of Natural History. It is the type species of Sufetula Walker 1859: 946.
Description
A brown sp. with a few slightly darker brown blotches. The termen of both wings is sinuous the FW being markedly falcate. Both wings have a dark marginal line with a thinner white line distally before the dark fringes. Two sinuous white lines cross the FW at the sub-termenal and antemedian positions. The HW has a similar line sub-termenally. The FW costa has a series of small white lunules some filled with brown and there is a large dark discoidal spot. The head thorax and abdomen are brown. The abdomen has pale intersegmental membranes. There is slight sexual dimorphism. Pseudochoreutis choreutalis Snellen, 1880-1892 [1880]: 202 & 1883: pl. 6, fig. 8 from Sulawesi (Makassar) is very similar but distinguished by Snellen 1898: 175 as a separate sp. The male lectotype determined by Munroe et al. 1958: 71 is in Leiden. RTS: 181 comment the the genus Sufetula Walker 1859 is pan tropical but only two spp are known from S.E. Asia
