Taxonomy
Brunei, Rampayo River. The holotype of Siculodes ochracea Pagenstecher,1886:166 from New Guinea is in the NHM (Mi7421). Transferred to Symphleps (Dalla Torre, 1914: 47, RTS:135).
S. ochracea ab.pallida Warren 1899b:318 from S. moluccas (Buru) is considered a good species. ms stat. rev. (Shaffer, 1993 LepIndex).
Description
Note: specimens have been seen from Sabah (Danum Valley) and Sarawak (Mulu) where the Up stigmata are barely visible and a considerable number of specimens have small white stigmata on the HW Up.
