Taxonomy
Trichophysetis sp. 5 is an unnamed morphotype from Sabah (MKNP) in the MfNH (Berlin).
The generic concepts represented by Trichophysetis (Meyrick 1884: 287) and Hendecasis Hampson, (1896: 140) are uncertain.
Description
A distinctive sp. with an elongate abdomen. Overall there are a speckling of pale brown scales on a pale background which become more orange to the wing margins. There is an indistinct dark basal fascia. The FW has a black, elongate, cellular spot. Another dark spot on the FW costa marks the start of a broad darker orange-brown submarginal band. The HW has curving, black, submedian line.
