Taxonomy
Uresiphita sp. 1. An unnamed specimen nr. to U. quinquigera from Brunei in the BMNH Accessions.
Description
The cream and brown patterning is very like Uresiphita quinquigera (Moore, 1888: 207, pl. 7, fig. 14) but the brown is tinged by a very obvious deep purple irridescence. The purplish brown wing markings superficially resemble Bacotoma violata (Fabricius 1786).
