- Family: Crambidae

Taxonomy
This worn morphotype, of Oligostigma flavipictalis Hampson, 1917: 469-470. Is present in the Schulze, HSB and SLS Colls. The female holotype of Oligostigma flavipictalis is from Singapore (Meade-Waldo).
Oligostigma Guenée, 1854 is an acentropine genus; consequently this musotimine should be allocated to another genus, probably Ambia Walker, 1859.
Description
A sp. with silvery-white scales on the body (when worn the colour becomes brown). Both wings are silvery white with a distinctive looping, fulvous patterning. Hampson’s description fits especially note the ‘brown striga’ below the FW cell which he mentions. Schulze (2000) taxon #664 (Sabah, PHS, Por3).
