Taxonomy

The female holotype of Oligernis leucochrysa Meyrick, 1894: 471 is from S.E. Borneo [Kalimantan Timur].

Description

A pale sp.; markings ochreous yellow on both wings; these markings are interrupted basally on the FW into patches. Two parallel bands curve from the middle of the disc up towards the costa before the apex the outermost being edged with black proximally as it approaches the costa; there is a ochreous termenal band, also finely edged with blackish proximally. The HW is white with three ochreous-yellow rather irregular transverse fasciae, second dilated in disc. It closely resembles Ambia flavipictalis.
