Taxonomy
Bacotoma sp. 5. An unnamed morphotype nr. B. ptochura Meyrick, 1894; from Sabah, PHS in the Schulze Coll.
Description
This sp. has a broad brown costa and broad brown wing borders on a golden yellow base. The FW submedian line is narrow as is the postmedian line which starts at a darker costal spot. That line diverts basally halfway across the wing leaving a small yellow area distally. The the cell has distinct elongated spot medianally. The abdomen is mainly pale orange-yellow but greyish near the tip.
The two specimens illustrated are very similar but differ in size and the distinctness of their markings and may not be conspecific.
