Taxonomy

Bocchoris sp. 1. This specimen is with several similar in a series of Bocchoris quaternalis Lederer, 1863 in the BMNH. It is probably Bocchoris [Aediodes] discrepans Butler 1887.

Description

One of several white-spotted black Bocchoris spp. B. inspersalis Zeller has a white streak on the HW tornus and several white spots on the FW unlike this specimen with four white spots, two on the FW. It may also be conspecific with B. ciliata Swinhoe, 1894: 206 and Bochoris sp 2.
