Taxonomy
Botyodes? sp. 4 Live specimens from W. Malaysia (Fraser's Hill). Photographed by David Fischer.
Description
A fulvous sp. with darker brown markings. On both wings the subtermenal area is delineated from the proximal areas with coarsely dentate boundary. It contains darker brown mottling especially on the FW tornus and the HW apex. The FW has a discocellular mark outlined in brown and the both wings have marginal neural dots and patches of brown on the submarginal fascia.
The shapes of the transverse lines differs from Botyodes diniasalis. The fasciation is almost the same as Botyodes sp. 5 but the intensity of the markings is very much more pronounced. Especially the definition of the brown marginal marginal patches is very bold. Similar to other Botyodes spp.
