Taxonomy

Bradina sp. 1, a series in the Schulze Coll. of a morphotype nr. B admixtalis Walker, 1859.

Description

A pale fawn brown morphotype with a darker mark at the costa where the post-median line starts. It has an elongate dark spot in the FW disco cellular area and a small spot in the subcosta antemedianally. The HW has a curving median line and a tiny punctum on the basal subcosta. The FW markings are more distinct than most B admixtalis and the HW median line is straighter. It may be Bradina aulacodialis Strand, 1919: 109-110. Schulze (2000) Taxon #577. Bradina sp. 2 is very similar and that may be the female.
